Vision Statement

To reach the lost by way of Community Service and Outreach Programs that will bring Glory to God

Who We Are

A Voice of Reason Ministries is a non-denominational, front-line teaching and outreach ministry dedicated to building up, developing, and encouraging God’s people from all walks of life. Our journey began in 2020, initially launching through radio ministry. After four years of dedicated service over the airwaves, new opportunities arose for community outreach, and our non-profit organization gained significant momentum (www.llcoutreach.org). All glory belongs to God for these advancements.

Our Servant Leaders

Marvin and Robin, as servant leaders, bring a wealth of experience and commitment to the work of the Lord. They have faithfully served in a variety of ministries including prison ministry, hospital and convalescent ministry, outreach ministry, prayer ministry, and teen ministry. Their passion has also extended to encouraging numerous leaders as they labor for the Kingdom.

Our Calling and Mandate

Recently, God has called Marvin and Robin to begin a new work in Elizabeth City, NC. Their mission is grounded in the command to “Go Ye” from Matthew 28:19 and inspired by the heavenly vision found in Acts 26:18: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God…” They serve as God’s voice, embracing their pastoral call and partnering with God and fellow servant leaders, including those in the Five-Fold Ministry.

Our Foundation Scripture

The foundational scripture for our ministry comes from Isaiah 1:18a: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD…” This invitation to reason together opens the door to honest dialogue with God, opportunities for a “come to Jesus” moment, or the chance for an “aha” realization. The words “COME” and “LET” are powerful, reminding us that we each have a part to play—a call to action for all who hear. Consider this: Will you come? Will you let? Se‘lah.

Our Mission in Action

As we serve our community, our podcast audience, and work to empower both the Church and the mental health community, we see our mission as a strategic outreach into dark places—led by God’s design. This is not “church as usual,” but a relevant and creative work intended to reach the lost. The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37). It is time to become fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). Today’s churches and ministries must be open to the “new thing” led by the Holy Spirit. We are committed to staying in faith, for it is the only thing that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).

To God be the glory!
